Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is Ireland’s newest technological university, order Atlantic Technological University degree, formed through the amalgamation of three Institutes of Technology in the west and northwest of the country: Galway-Mayo IT, Letterkenny IT, and Sligo IT. The university was established in April 2022, following the passing of the Technological Universities Act 2018.
